PAX Prime 2011: Life is Crime

With all the commotion and noise of PAX 2011 it might be easy to overlook some of the smaller booths- but in doing so you would be causing a great disservice to yourself. There are many hidden gems at PAX and even fewer gems that focus on the worlds foremost smartphone platform: Android. Life is Crime is a brand new title from Red Robot and it is one of the most ambitious pieces of software for the Android platform we have ever seen. This game takes multi-player to a global scale and pits players in a location based massively multiplayer online game where you commit virtual crimes at real locations. Visit places to perform missions, sell contraband, and fight other players to own a location. The more active you are, the higher your criminal reputation and the more notorious you become.

While optimized for Android smartphones, we were assured that a tablet optimized version is on its way- and we cant’ wait to get our hands on it!
